Traverse Management Resources, Inc. is co-owned by partners Russ and Leslie Knopp. Russ and Leslie founded TMR after discovering that the skills each had developed through different experiences in education and business created a unique perspective and effective combination. They share an energy and enthusiasm for working with people and groups and together have become a highly effective team that has successfully helped a diverse mix of groups envision their future, plot a strategy and navigate changing conditions to get there.

Russ and Leslie Knopp have consulted with hundreds of businesses, schools and nonprofit organizations individually and together for over ten years. Trained in the facilitation methods originated at the Institute of Cultural Affairs, the Knopps are members of the International Association of Facilitators.

Russ' professional roots are anchored in a successful sales career, where he identified clients' needs and provided creative solutions. His corporate management experiences include training, marketing, staff development, and developing business plans and strategies to increase profitability and market penetration.

Prior to founding Traverse Management Resources, Inc., Leslie owned and operated Initiatives, a consulting firm specializing in educational partnerships, with a focus on collaborative strategic planning. Her background is in education, as a teacher of secondary and adult students, partnership director, and administrator with responsibility for internal and external communications
